Roots to the Future

Haz'art Trio at festival of young artists Bayreuth

Roots to the Future“ stands for an exciting intercultural project for which we were invited to the 67th festival of young artists Bayreuth. Together with the choir of the Ionian Institute of Music on Corfu in Greece, which is one of the best choirs in Europe, and Syrian Singer Rebal Alkhodari we worked on a spiritual program of byzantine and muslim peace prayers. Through Gregori Allegri’s magical psalm scoring „Miserere Mei“ we are creating places in music where there is no cultural segregation but only mutual respect worship. We feel deeply honored to be participating in this unique project while we keep following our way of cross-cultural understanding.

Das Haz'art Trio at  "Neuer Deutscher Kompositionspreis"
Fadhel Boubaker - Oud
Jonathan Sell - Kontrabass
Dominik Fürstberger
Jan F. Kurth - Gesang
Steffen Dix - Saxophon
Jörg Teichert - Gitarre

"Mannheimer Morgen":
